Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Gather client information and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax preparation and compliance.
  • Review financial records and historical tax data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with clients to obtain required information and address tax-related inquiries.
  • Work directly with business owners, CEOs, and financial leaders of small and mid-sized companies.
  • Aid in tax planning, compliance, and research projects.
  • Participate in business networking events and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and client service.
  • Collaborate closely with team members in a highly interactive office environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited U.S. university.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on tax preparation experience within a CPA firm.
  • Knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and trust taxation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, onsite environment.
