Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, and partnerships.
- Gather client information and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax preparation and compliance.
- Review financial records and historical tax data for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate professionally with clients to obtain required information and address tax-related inquiries.
- Work directly with business owners, CEOs, and financial leaders of small and mid-sized companies.
- Aid in tax planning, compliance, and research projects.
- Participate in business networking events and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and client service.
- Collaborate closely with team members in a highly interactive office environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited U.S. university.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on tax preparation experience within a CPA firm.
- Knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and trust taxation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, onsite environment.
