Staff Systems Test Engineer, Scenario Quality and Maintenance Systems

For our client, a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Staff Systems Test Engineer to advance quality and maintenance systems initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and testing frameworks.

About the role

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a manufacturing environment.

Location: San Francisco, CA. US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Quality Control methodologies for test creation
• Manage and improve the meta-quality framework to enhance overall testing quality
• Drive automation for detecting and resolving test health issues
• Create and maintain a comprehensive playbook for maintenance adjustments at scale
• Partner with subject matter experts to develop standards and guidelines for vendor workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in Test Engineering, QA Engineering, or equivalent roles
• Strong debugging skills and proficiency in Python/C++ coding
• Familiarity with SQL or similar data analysis tools
• Proven experience in architecting large-scale testing programs
• Demonstrated ability to lead test automation strategies
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Pay

$230,000 – $284,000 annually
