About the role

The Staff Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex systems within the vehicle integration, testing, and validation process. This role requires expertise in software development, system integration, and vehicle testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement vehicle integration systems to ensure seamless data flow between different vehicle components.
  • Develop and maintain software solutions that integrate various vehicle subsystems for testing and validation purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance personnel to ensure system compatibility and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough testing of integrated systems to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
  • Document system design and test procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle systems integration, testing, and validation.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and J1939.
  • Knowledge of vehicle testing methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
  • Understanding of vehicle architecture and subsystems.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
