The opportunity involves designing and delivering enterprise-grade audiovisual and collaboration environments across Visa's global offices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and commissioning of standard and complex AV conferencing spaces.
- Enable AI-assisted collaboration experiences through AV hardware standards and identifying automation opportunities.
- Leverage AI enabled tools and analytics to inform design decisions, identify systemic issues, and improve AV and UC environments at scale.
- Partner with Product, Workplace, and Operations teams to evolve room design and collaboration experiences using usage data, user feedback, and lifecycle insights.
- Partner with AV Operations and Support teams to analyze repeat incidents and systemic issues, using feedback loops and lifecycle data to improve standards, drive corrective design changes, and reduce long-term support effort.
- Define, implement, and maintain global AV standards, room typologies, reference designs, and bill-of-materials (BOM) guidance.
- Review and approve AV schematics, elevations, network diagrams, and design documentation produced by integrators and design partners.
- Make informed engineering decisions on display sizing, camera placement, microphone strategies, DSP architecture, lighting integration, and room ergonomics.
- Design and validate AV-over-IP network architectures, including AV LAN segmentation, switch topology, redundancy, and monitoring considerations.
- Partner with Real Estate, Construction, Architects, General Contractors, and Low-Voltage teams to ensure AV requirements are incorporated early and delivered accurately.
- Govern AV integrators and vendors, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, quality expectations, schedules, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead acceptance testing, commissioning, and operational handoff, ensuring solutions are production-ready and supportable by AV Operations and onsite support teams.
- Collaborate across Security, Network Engineering, Infrastructure, and Collaboration platforms to ensure compliant, reliable solutions.
- Maintain platform documentation, operational playbooks, FAQs, and training materials to support scale and consistency.
- Balance user experience, operational simplicity, security, cost, and schedule risk in all design and delivery decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and applying AI-assisted and agentic capabilities to improve AV/UC deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management, and user experience at enterprise scale.
- Experience designing and delivering AV systems in large, global enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, enterprise conferencing standards, and room automation.
- Familiarity with AV-over-IP switching platforms and dedicated AV networks.
- Experience working within construction-led projects and coordinating AV scope with architects and general contractors.
- Unified Communications telephony experience, including Microsoft Teams Phone, call routing models (Direct Routing and Operator Connect), and enterprise voice design considerations.
- Handson experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs)—specifically AudioCodes—including configuration, high availability, and interop with Teams Phone.
- Experience operating or integrating with AudioCodes OVOC (One Voice Operations Center) for SBC and voice infrastructure monitoring, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.
- Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, or equivalent preferred.
