Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.
About the role
Candidates will be a member of the Archer Defense and Advanced Programs organization and will be part of the team to incubate, market, capture, and execute (technical, cost, and schedule) advanced programs applied to our Archer Defense portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, fabrication, and test of survivability technologies (RCS, IR, Acoustics)
- Work with ASE and mission systems
- Perform Operations Analysis using modeling and simulation environments such as AFSIM
- Lead and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and business disciplines
Requirements
- 6-10 years’ experience in the aerospace or related field
- BS in engineering, computer science, physics, or math (MS or PhD desired)
- Experience with domestic and international threat systems
- US citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
- Knowledge of RF, EW/EA, EOIR, acoustic, mission systems, sensors, communications, dynamic and propulsion (electric, hybrid, and gas turbine) systems, CAD, Python, MATLAB
Bonus Qualifications
- Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, DoDAF
- Experience with customers
Pay
For this position, we are targeting a base pay range of $130,800 - $179,900. Actual compensation offered will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
