Staff Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist
About the role
The Mission Systems Subcontract Services (SCS) Team is a Sector level added service ensuring that all agreements, terms, and conditions are negotiated, documented, and governed in alignment with corporate strategy, risk exposure and regulatory requirements. The SCS team drives excellence in areas of negotiations, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to achieve value, compliance, and strong operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Law Department, Programs, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Engineering to foster long and short-term business relationships with our supply base.
- Balance and influence multiple competing priorities and individuals.
- Showcase excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, presentation, and human relations skills.
- Showcase experience in multi-tasking to a successful outcome and usage of above-mentioned communication and project management skills.
- Showcase experience in terms and conditions exhibited through a lead role in negotiations or contract drafting.
- Showcase experience with FAR/DFARS.
- Showcase experience with MS Office Suite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, contracts, law, or a related field.
- Experience in terms and conditions exhibited through a lead role in negotiations or contract drafting.
- Experience with FAR/DFARS.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
Qualifications

Pay
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
