or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences.
We need to decide which sections to include. The posting includes:
- Role description (overview, responsibilities)
- Role accountabilities (list of duties)
- Required Qualifications & Experience (list)
- Why Arcadis? (benefits, culture)
- Salary range (Pay)
- Location/hybrid (maybe as a short p)
- Travel requirement (some travel may be required)
- Possibly schedule? Not specified.
We need to avoid filler sections. So we can have sections: About the role (role description), Responsibilities (role accountabilities), Requirements (qualifications), Benefits (Why Arcadis? includes benefits), Pay (salary range). Possibly also a short paragraph for location/hybrid and travel.
We must not repeat job title heading. Use
for each section heading.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. For prose, use
.
We need to preserve all substantive information. Let's extract content.
First, location/hybrid: "STAFF STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (PE OR SENIOR EIT) LOCATION - USA - HYBRID ROLE". We'll put that in a
maybe.
Then role description paragraph: "Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. We are more than 34,000 people, in over 30 countries, dedicated to improving quality of life. Everyone has an important role to play. With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together. Role description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 6 or more years of project experience to join our growing team. If you’re motivated by tackling complex structural challenges, working with a wide range of materials, leading technical efforts, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, this role is an excellent fit. You’ll also have clear opportunities to grow into senior technical or project leadership roles as your career progresses. In this position, you will lead key project components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative, high‑quality design solutions for projects across sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail."
We can keep that as prose.
Then role accountabilities list: bullet points:
- Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools; seismic analysis experience is a plus.
- Perform technical work with an increased level of complexity with senior review
- Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office/project staff, client, and subcontractors, throughout the project life cycle, and have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills
- Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
- Perform Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews.
- Traveling, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.
We need to ensure each bullet is a
- .
Then Required Qualifications & Experience list:
- 6 or more years of relevant structural engineering project experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License or Senior EIT candidate looking to write their PE exam in the next 6 months
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative
- Excellent working knowledge of all USA National codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.
- Strong technical software skills related to: RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD
- Effective communication skills - oral and written
We'll list as
- .
Then Why Arcadis? section: includes benefits and culture. We need to extract benefits list: "Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year."
Also culture statements: "We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We believe everyone's contribution matters. It’s why we are pioneering a skills-based approach, where you can harness your unique experience and expertise to carve your career path and maximize the impact we can make together. You’ll do meaningful work, and no matter what role, you’ll be helping to deliver sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet. Make your mark, on your career, your colleagues, your clients, your life and the world around you. Together, we can create a lasting legacy. Join Arcadis. Create a Legacy."
We can include that as prose under Benefits or maybe a separate "About Arcadis" but we only have headings list: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can use Benefits for the benefits and culture. Or we could split: Benefits for benefits list, and maybe "About the role" includes culture? But we already have About the role for role description. Could add a separate section "Why Arcadis?" but not in allowed headings. The instruction says use headings e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. It doesn't forbid other headings? It says "Use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." The e.g. suggests those are examples but we could use others? Safer to stick to those. We can map content: About the role (role description), Responsibilities (role accountabilities), Requirements (qualifications), Skills (maybe technical software skills?), Benefits (benefits and culture), Pay (salary range). Could also have Qualifications separate from Requirements? Might be redundant. Better to follow: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay. That's enough.
We need to avoid filler sections: we have real content for each.
Now location/hybrid and travel: we can include a short
before sections: maybe "Location: USA - Hybrid role. Some travel may be required for project work and client visits within the United States."
We must not repeat job title.
Now ensure we don't include boilerplate like EEO etc. We removed.
Now produce HTML fragment.
Let's craft:
