Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for agentic AI capabilities within TurboTax, translating complex user needs and business opportunities into measurable outcomes.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative agentic AI features and experiences, partnering deeply with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, designers, and tax experts to deliver high-accuracy, trustworthy, and confidence-building solutions.
  • Drive product definition and requirements for underlying AI models, agent orchestration logic, and human-in-the-loop processes, balancing user experience with the high bar for accuracy required in tax.
  • Design and execute data-driven experiments (including A/B testing and user studies) specifically to validate hypotheses related to agentic AI effectiveness, user trust, and impact on filer confidence and accuracy.
  • Build strong partnerships and influence roadmaps across senior leaders and teams to ensure cohesive strategy and execution for agentic AI initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years designing and delivering world-class software products focused on platform, data-intensive systems, or AI/ML-powered experiences.
  • Deep understanding and significant hands-on experience defining strategy for and shipping products leveraging Generative AI, complex Machine Learning models, Conversational AI or Agentic AI systems, to solve challenging user problems at scale.
  • Passion for tackling complex consumer problems, ideally within fintech, personal finance, tax, or related domains where user trust, accuracy, and data privacy are paramount.
  • Strong technical intuition; comfortable engaging deeply with engineering and data science on system architecture, model capabilities, APIs, and technical trade-offs. Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear product.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative/technical field. An MBA or an equivalent experience will be considered.
