Staff Software Engineer- UI Foundations Team

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Own and enhance frontend architectural foundations and design systems
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks on the frontend platform
• Develop and maintain critical developer tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Implement AI-driven automation to streamline engineering workflows
• Lead technical direction and mentor senior engineers within the team
• Collaborate with product and design teams to address foundational pain points
• Set standards for frontend architecture and participate in architecture reviews

Requirements

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience at a Staff level or equivalent scope
• Deep knowledge of modern frontend architecture (React or similar frameworks)
• Proficiency in infrastructure and build tooling, including CI/CD systems
• Experience in optimizing frontend performance at scale (load time, rendering)
• Proven ability to design and develop internal tooling to enhance developer productivity
• Hands-on experience or strong understanding of AI-driven engineering workflows
• Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaborations

Pay

$173,000 – $238,000 annually
