Responsibilities

• Work closely with both product teams and platform teams to build interconnected and scalable solutions
• Work both within and across product teams to enable them to produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity
• Help shape the product infrastructure used by Rippling
• Innovate and Lead: Design and develop high-quality software products, driving architectural decisions and overseeing the complete product delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate and Execute: Coordinate cross-team collaborations, integrate customer feedback into the product engineering roadmap, and drive successful delivery execution.
• Mentor and Inspire: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on building large-scale platforms for web and mobile applications.
• Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in developing complex, distributed services using languages such as Python, Golang, or Java.
• Cloud Experience (Bonus): Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
• Product Ownership: A commitment to owning the product lifecycle and solving real-world problems for our customers.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Passionate about working in a product-focused environment with a deep commitment to customer impact.
