Staff Software Engineer - Site Defense

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Site Defense to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will focus on building and evolving the systems that protect a large-scale consumer media platform from DDoS attacks and automated abuse. You will work across infrastructure layers to detect malicious traffic in real time while helping maintain a strong balance between security and user experience. The position partners closely with Infrastructure, Security, and Safety teams, and contributes to incident response during large-scale events.
