Responsibilities
- Lead technical development for autonomous vehicle motion planning systems
- Drive architectural strategy and engineering excellence across teams
- Develop and optimize motion planning algorithms for autonomous trucks
- Establish engineering best practices for software quality and operational excellence
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance across teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable autonomy performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years
- Proven multi-team technical leadership in complex engineering settings
- Expertise in robotics or autonomous vehicle software systems
- Proficient in modern C++ and Linux environments
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, kinematics, and planning architecture
- Excellent debugging skills for complex system-level issues
