Responsibilities

  • Lead technical development for autonomous vehicle motion planning systems
  • Drive architectural strategy and engineering excellence across teams
  • Develop and optimize motion planning algorithms for autonomous trucks
  • Establish engineering best practices for software quality and operational excellence
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance across teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable autonomy performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years
  • Proven multi-team technical leadership in complex engineering settings
  • Expertise in robotics or autonomous vehicle software systems
  • Proficient in modern C++ and Linux environments
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, kinematics, and planning architecture
  • Excellent debugging skills for complex system-level issues
