Staff Software Engineer, Mobile (App Infrastructure)

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions in a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Set the technical strategy for the team over a year-long horizon
• Collaborate across teams to ensure technical sustainability and manage risks
• Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes
• Take ownership of team operations, ensuring robust monitoring and on-call readiness
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership through standards and advocacy
• Develop team talent through feedback and guidance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mobile application development and architecture experience
• 4+ years of experience with React Native
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript
• Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo, including native module development
• Experience with complex state management in React, preferably with Redux Toolkit
• Knowledge of mobile testing and observability tools, including E2E frameworks and crash reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global team

Pay

$230,000 – $290,000 annually
