Staff Software Engineer, Frontend Platform

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision and long-term architectural direction for the frontend platform
• Design, build, and evolve shared foundations like design systems and component libraries
• Drive improvements in developer experience across various tools and metrics
• Own and advance accessibility and internationalization across the frontend ecosystem
• Partner with backend engineers to design and evolve GraphQL APIs and contribute to backend changes
• Engineer efficient and reusable systems for complex web and mobile applications
• Lead large or cross-team initiatives to deliver consistent user experiences

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software development experience with a focus on frontend engineering
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and the company frontend tools like Vite
• Proven experience designing and scaling frontend platforms or shared component libraries
• Strong working knowledge of GraphQL and backend services in Python (Django/Flask)
• Experience improving developer experience and CI/CD for frontend codebases
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to influence teams
• Experience leading and architecting large-scale projects as a technical thought leader
