Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Build AI features that drive revenue, end to end. Define the success metric, ship across React/TypeScript and Node.js/Python, and iterate until it moves.

Work directly with customers. Our biggest accounts have shared Slack channels with our engineers; you'll be on calls with users one day and shipping fixes back to them the next.

Set technical direction across the team. How agent memory works per rep? What's the right primitive for a long-running outbound strategy? Make the architectural calls other engineers build against.

Raise the bar across the org. Mentor senior engineers, run the hardest design reviews, and help us hire more people like you.

Responsibilities

• Build AI features that drive revenue, end to end.
• Define the success metric, ship across React/TypeScript and Node.js/Python, and iterate until it moves.
• Work directly with customers. Our biggest accounts have shared Slack channels with our engineers; you'll be on calls with users one day and shipping fixes back to them the next.

Requirements

8+ years of engineering experience, including time as a tech lead of a meaningful product area, a founder, or a domain expert other engineers turn to.

Production experience with AI features. For example, you've debugged misbehaving agents and built the evals to keep issues from recurring.

Strong opinions, held loosely, about what the product surface of human-agent collaboration should look like.

Not afraid to hop on a call with a customer to validate a feature you just built.

You make the rest of the company faster.

Based in San Francisco, excited to be in-office 3+ days per week.

Skills

A strong background in software engineering, particularly in building AI-driven solutions.
