Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead deep technical discovery with operators and clients, diagnosing workflows and identifying high-leverage automation opportunities
- Own the architecture and delivery of end-to-end systems, focusing on web, cloud, data, and AI infrastructure, with an emphasis on reuse and scalability
- Define and build robust APIs, agentic workflows, and AI/ML-driven systems, setting industry standards for intelligent automation
- Rapidly prototype, develop, validate, and deploy solutions in live client environments, balancing speed and production-grade reliability
- Set technical direction for performance, scalability, security, and resilience, anticipating and mitigating risks before they impact customers
- Lead cross-functional technical alignment with product, data, and operators to ensure solutions align with business outcomes and strategic goals
- Drive production excellence in client deployments, conducting root-cause analysis, implementing durable fixes, and improving system resilience
- Serve as a senior technical authority and trusted advisor to executives and operators, while maintaining hands-on involvement in code and system design
Requirements
7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in production environments. Proven experience in AI development, including the ability to design and implement enterprise-grade applications from end to end. Strong API and systems design expertise, with a focus on scalability and maintainability. Fluent in AI-assisted development and able to balance leverage with high standards for code quality and system integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high-stakes problem spaces end to end, including direct delivery in client- or operator-facing contexts
- Experience integrating AI/ML into production systems, with a deep understanding of the trade-offs between performance, cost, reliability, and compliance
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing engineers, operators, and executives through clear technical reasoning and written design artifacts
- Pragmatic leadership style, focused on ownership, accountability, and forward-deployed execution in complex, multi-disciplinary environments
- Fluency in AI-assisted development, using modern tools to increase leverage while maintaining high standards for code quality and system integrity

TriEdge Investments offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 annually, with a discretionary performance bonus. Comprehensive benefits package includes:

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $300,000. Actual compensation offered may vary based on experience and skill level, among other factors. This role is also eligible for a discretionary fund performance bonus.

We are currently looking for candidates who can start immediately. TriEdge Investments offers a flexible work schedule, allowing employees to work in-office or remotely as needed.
