Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build AI features that drive revenue, end to end.
• Define the success metric, ship across React/TypeScript and Node.js/Python, and iterate until it moves.
• Work directly with customers, participating in calls with users to validate and ship fixes.
• Set technical direction across the team, making architectural calls and setting standards for agent memory and long-running strategies.
• Mentor senior engineers, run the hardest design reviews, and help with hiring new talent.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience, including time as a tech lead of a meaningful product area, a founder, or a domain expert other engineers turn to.
• Production experience with AI features, such as debugging misbehaving agents and building evaluation systems to prevent issues from recurring.
• Strong opinions, held loosely, about the product surface of human-agent collaboration.
• Not afraid to hop on a call with a customer to validate a feature you just built.
• Make the rest of the company faster.
