About the role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Continuously improve processes and tools to increase team productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with at least one major programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
- Understanding of cloud platforms and services
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
Skills
- Proficiency in object-oriented design principles
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular
- Good understanding of web protocols and standards
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
