The Role

This role is tailored for experienced engineering leaders (IC or EM) or founders who wish to maintain a significant level of impact as individual contributors. As part of a small, high-performing team (2-5 engineers and a Product Manager), you will develop AI products for clients. Your responsibilities include setting technical direction, writing code, and guiding clients through problem-solving sessions. You will spend approximately 75% of your time in code and 25% collaborating closely with clients, particularly their CTOs.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on delivering complete products end-to-end.
• Elegant, production-ready code across multiple disciplines.
• A deep interest in applying software engineering principles to AI systems.
• A balance between leveraging model capabilities and robust system design.
• Comfort in engaging with senior technical stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client needs.
• A high degree of ownership and a willingness to tackle complex problems independently.
• A low ego and a strong commitment to integrity and honesty.
