Staff Software Engineer

About the role

The role requires a mix of days in CDK's Portland, OR office and can be worked remotely on the remaining days. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of this office.

Responsibilities

• Develop web APIs using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• Design and implement transaction-oriented software in a Linux/C environment
• Work with SQL/Oracle databases and Unix/Linux systems programming
• Provide technical leadership to a team of 5-7 developers
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs in projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 7+ years of experience OR 15 + years of experience in lieu of degree
• 8-12 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET as Developer
• Expert level capabilities in Php
• In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure
• Expert level experience with SQL/Oracle databases
• In-depth knowledge of fundamental design principles for building a scalable web application
• Excellent software development hygiene ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

Qualifications

• Expert in the C# programming language
• Must be an expert in Unix/Linux systems programming including I/O, networking, file systems and database access, and shell scripting

Skills

Pay

Salary Range: $150,000 - $185,000
