Staff Software Engineer, Ads Data Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead and break down complex problems while maintaining a focus on the overall data vision
• Collaborate with and mentor engineers across multiple teams
• Contribute to data vision and engineering architecture, producing technical artifacts that meet business objectives
• Oversee engineering initiatives from inception to delivery, managing risks and setting goals
• Balance tech debt with the ongoing development of new features

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate ambiguity
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in a fast pace
• Expertise in Spark, ETLs, Distributed System architecture, MapReduce, SQL, and Big Data infrastructure
• Experience balancing urgency and quality in solutions
