Staff Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Drive the software architecture vision for the Clinical Insights Engine platform
• Serve as the technical authority on system design for multiple engineering squads
• Lead the design of scalable platforms supporting clinical AI/ML workloads
• Define ML architecture patterns ensuring production-grade reliability
• Lead architecture for LLM-integrated systems and clinical NLP processing
• Define engineering standards and reference architectures for CIE
• Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of innovation

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data architecture, platform engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years designing enterprise-scale systems in GCP and/or Azure in a regulated environment
• Proficient in cloud-native services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Vertex AI
• Experience architecting clinical AI/ML platforms and MLOps tooling
• Strong skills in distributed systems design and fault-tolerant architectures
• Proven ability to influence technical and business stakeholders
• Familiar with healthcare data domains and HIPAA regulations

Pay

$106,605 – $260,590 annually
