Staff Security Engineer, Threat Detection & Response

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of security strategies and policies
• Provide technical leadership to security engineering teams and stakeholders
• Arcitect and design secure systems and applications
• Develop security controls and monitoring systems
• Identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Lead incident response efforts for security breaches
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a security-aware culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 8-10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on security solutions design
• Expertise in security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Experience with cloud, network, application security, and IAM
• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
