Staff Security Architect

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Shape security architecture for the company’s products and services with engineering teams to ensure secure-by-design outcomes
• Embed in product launches to ensure end-to-end security from design to release
• Collaborate with IT on secure AI feature launches across vendor products
• Establish security architecture for AI-native products, LLM integrations, and AI development toolchains
• Contribute to building automation tools that integrate security into developer workflows effectively
• Analyze and advise on risk posture to leadership, focusing on impactful remediation investments
• Build secure practices that streamline modern engineering workflows

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security, with experience in security architecture or engineering roles
• Proven expertise in AI security, specifically with LLM-based products and agentic systems
• Hands-on capability to build, prototype, and extend systems effectively
• Strong grasp of cloud security in GCP, AWS, or Azure, particularly identity and CI/CD security
• In-depth understanding of secure architecture patterns and expectations from enterprise customers

Pay

$160,300 – $305,400 annually
