Responsibilities
- Research and develop AI and non-AI algorithms for cardiac imaging applications
- Implement a robust image processing pipeline for low latency environments
- Translate clinical needs into algorithmic specifications with Product and Clinical teams
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on submissions including 510(k) and De Novo
- Work with engineering teams to integrate AI solutions in clinical settings
- Communicate research findings and strategies to stakeholders through documentation and presentations
- Mentor junior scientists and promote technical excellence
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or M.S. with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in applied AI and DL research for medical imaging diagnostics
- Strong coding skills in C++ and Python
- Familiarity with graph processing or graph neural networks (GNN) is beneficial
- Prior experience with cardiac motion modeling is a plus
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
