Staff Scientist, Bioinformatics/RWD

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead bioinformatics and genomic analysis on large-scale multi-omics datasets
• Design and execute robust RWE studies using diverse data sources
• Manage integration of clinical, genomic, and demographic data
• Develop and deploy AI and machine learning models for patient outcome prediction
• Utilize NLP to extract insights from unstructured clinical text
• Oversee RWD and genomics projects from inception to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance research and development efforts

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Proven expertise in biocomputing with a focus on genomic data analysis
• Strong experience with SQL, Python, or R for data management and visualization
• Proficiency in AI/ML for predictive analytics
• Understanding of real-world clinical data, including EHR and claims data
• Exceptional communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration

Pay

$158,000 – $197,500 annually
