Staff Scientist - Alabaster

Responsibilities

• Perform Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling
• Carry out geologic evaluations
• Perform mold evaluations
• Assist with assessment staff training and development
• Manage task/project coordination and execution
• Be willing to take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Demonstrate leadership in all tasks and projects, emphasizing and promoting Spectrum’s Vision
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Conduct daily activities that exemplify Spectrum’s quality of work product standards
• Promote Spectrum’s overall company mission
• Promote Spectrum’s Core Principles (H.I.R.E.S.)
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, Motor Vehicle Report review, and background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related environmental field
• 1+ years’ experience in the environmental field is a plus
