Staff RN - PACU with Call

About the Role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in diverse, acute healthcare settings, primarily in Post Anesthesia Care. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Accountable for nursing practice per Ohio Board standards, delegating tasks to LPNs and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAPs), and participating in process improvement to enhance clinical quality, safety, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and document care plans.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to LPNs and UAPs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical quality, safety, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within five years of employment.
• Previous RN hospital experience required; Critical Care, PACU, or Endoscopy experience preferred.
• On-call commitment required.
