About the role
Scrub and circulate across general, orthopedic, and vascular surgical cases, working alongside surgeons and anesthesia to keep cases moving safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for general, orthopedic, and vascular procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and instrument/sponge counts
- Prepare and troubleshoot OR equipment before and during cases
- Communicate case status to surgeons, anesthesia, and family liaisons
- Participate in call rotation for urgent and emergent cases
Requirements
- Current Nebraska RN license or active compact state license
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- 1+ years perioperative experience preferred
- Willing to rotate shifts and participate in call coverage
