About the Role
This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings while collaborating with the healthcare team. The role is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assessment/Diagnosis (30%): Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as applicable to the population and/or individual.
- Outcomes Identification/Planning (30%): Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
- Implementation/Evaluation (20%): Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals. Revises the plan of care based on evaluative data as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Leadership (10%): Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Operations (10%): Focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
- RN - Registered Nurse (Ohio Board of Nursing)
- CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
