About the role
Staff RN in the Neurology Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to adult neurology patients requiring continuous EEG and video monitoring.
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor seizures.
- Administer medications and coordinate care with neurologists, technologists, and the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families about condition and treatment.
- Support complex discharge planning, ensure thorough documentation, and promote safety and quality of care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong clinical nursing skills with knowledge of neurology and EEG monitoring.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
- Ability to educate patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
