Job Description Summary
Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. Works 24/7/365.
Responsibilities And Duties
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care provided to assigned patients.
Delegates nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs according to Ohio Nurse Practice Act criteria.
Participates in process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
Minimum Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Ohio Board of Nursing
Additional Job Description
- Three 12-hour shifts per week: 7am-7:30pm
- On-call schedule: 7pm-7am once every other week, Friday 7pm-7am once every 5th weekend
- Strong background in critical care or emergency department required
- At least two years of relevant experience in critical care or emergency department
- Day shift weekly hours: 36
