STAFF RN, FWBH - MODIFIED CARE UNIT (MCU)

About the role

Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at Froedtert West Bend Hospital facility. This is an on‑site position with an FTE of 0.90 (36 standard hours). Shift 3 consists of 12‑hour shifts, holidays as assigned, and every third weekend.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment, demonstrating competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
• Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing program to be eligible for RN licensure. Newly hired or transferred RNs without a BSN (or higher) and with less than one year of RN experience must gain acceptance into an accredited BSN (or higher) program within 15 months of hire and complete it within five years; this does not apply to those holding a non‑nursing bachelor’s or graduate degree. Direct‑entry BSN/MSN students are not exempt. RNs pursuing an MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing may meet the requirement via that program (BSN awarded within five years; otherwise the advanced degree within six years).
• Licensure: Current Wisconsin RN license or a multi‑state NLC license;
