Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.

About the Role

This job is ON-SITE. FTE: 0.600000 Standard Hours: 24.00 Shift: Shift 1 0700-1930 Every Saturday and Sunday, including the holidays that fall on the weekends. Able to get 1 weekend of PTO per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
• Deliver care to a primarily adult population.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing theory and practice.
• Manage the care of target patient populations specific to area of employment.

Requirements

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
