Staff RN, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

About the Role

Northside Hospital is award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing. The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Interventional Cath Lab
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• Two (2) years of experience in critical care, electrophysiology, or in an Interventional Cath Lab
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
