Staff Researcher, Agentic Commerce

For a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Researcher in Agentic Commerce to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, partnering with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a focused research agenda related to agentic commerce
• Translate research insights into strategic product and business recommendations
• Conduct studies on human-agent interactions in purchasing contexts
• Synthesize behavioral data and consumer insights to enrich research findings
• Collaborate across teams to integrate user needs into product development
• Connect with researchers in related fields to enhance the understanding of AI's impact
• Support and mentor fellow researchers to elevate research quality
• Adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in UX research or a related field
• Strong understanding of human-agent interactions and trust in AI systems
• Proven ability to lead complex research projects and establish research agendas
• Skilled in data triangulation and synthesizing insights from diverse data sources
• Excellent communication skills to convey research findings and recommendations effectively
• Experience mentoring researchers and fostering a collaborative culture
• Passion for the future of commerce and innovative applications of AI

Pay

$165,000 – $215,000 annually
