Staff Reliability Engineer - AI & Hyperscale Server NPI and Mfg.

About The Role

Our reliability team evaluates, develops, designs, and implements software and product reliability test regimens to ensure ZT products of the highest quality are delivered to our customers. We are seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer with exceptional knowledge/experience in developing and manufacturing scalable infrastructures.

What You'll Do

• Use Design for Reliability principles to ensure cloud hardware meets specified use-conditions and stresses.
• Act as the internal consultant on all reliability matters, interfacing with program management, vendors, and design engineering on key reliability programs/issues.
• Support the Software/script development needs of the reliability team by creating or revising reliability engineering guidelines.
• Improve product field performance through design enhancements to meet reliability goals.
• Use principles of performance evaluation and prediction to enhance the reliability and maintainability of Cloud Infrastructure servers.
• Collect, analyze, and manage various types of data to minimize failures and improve product performance.
• Create or revise scripts representing expected environments and operational conditions.
• Collaborate with other development functional teams and internal stakeholders to apply Design for Reliability principles and ensure products meet customer expectations.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or Software Development with 8+ years of relevant work experience (or M.S. with 6+ years).
• Knowledge of computer systems/hardware structure, switch/network interfaces, and programming languages like Python or Unix.
• Experience with statistical & probability techniques and reliability modeling.
• Ability to communicate, collaborate, and lead cross-functionally to resolve issues, including those with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of Computer Architecture, Server architecture at the block level, and Hardware/Firmware/OS interactions.
• Working knowledge of PCBA design, fabrication, and validation testing.
• Experience using tools such as ReliaSoft, JMP, and Mintab statistical software packages.
• Knowledge of industry standards, IPC, JEDEC, Telcordia, and MIL-STD.

ZT Systems Assessments

ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $105,000 and $154,000 per year. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.
