About the role

Working under limited supervision, the Staff Registered Nurse 2 will be responsible for providing age specific, developmentally appropriate nursing services and education to students, faculty, and staff accessing care at University Health and Counseling Services. Consistent with the values of Case Western Reserve University and University Health and Counseling Services, this position will contribute to building a welcoming community that thrives by working together, focusing on collective well-being, and helping students gain insight from their academic endeavors and real-world experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in all clinical settings including primary care, women's health, allergy, immunization, campus outreach and occupational health. Assess patient needs, provide appropriate interventions, document all clinical activities promptly in the electronic health record, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Initiate a plan of care as designated by physician or advanced practice provider. (50%)
