Staff R&D Test Systems Engineer
About the role
Voya Energy is commercializing a groundbreaking metal-based fuel to rapidly deploy reliable, clean, affordable electricity anywhere on Earth. Our breakthrough technology converts abundant, high-energy, recycled metals into a powerful, safe, durable fuel. We are creating a foundational new category of energy generation devices, delivering fast access to power, free from the limitations of the grid. We are seeking an engineer to build R&D and prototype platforms to develop and scale our metal-fueled generator technology.
The ideal candidate will apply multidisciplinary expertise across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to develop high-performance, reliable, and easy-to-use test systems and product prototypes. Experience building custom test platforms in R&D environments and systems-level thinking to turn complex ideas into working systems is essential.
