Staff QE

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff QE to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $148,350 – $203,550 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term testing strategy for the AI Platform
• Establish quality metrics and coverage standards in collaboration with teams
• Enhance test coverage through scalable automation solutions
• Guide test planning for new features, focusing on alignment with criteria
• Streamline testing processes and conduct exploratory testing for risk management
• Mentor engineers on sustainable quality practices and release standards

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering or related field
• Fluency with AI tools to enhance software delivery processes
• Expertise in Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and QA practices
• Experience with Test Management Systems like Allure TestOps
• Proficient in API testing and UI test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently without a dedicated QE team
