Staff Psychologist

About the Role

The Children's Center Utah (TCCU) is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health services to very young children and their families. This includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and Family and Dyadic Therapy. The role serves children from birth to six years old with severe emotional and behavioral challenges, early childhood trauma, and developmental delays. The position involves active participation in the Psychology Training Committee for the APA-accredited doctoral intern program.

Clinicians at TCCU work within a multidisciplinary team and receive training and support to attain certification in evidence-based treatments, such as Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Extensive professional training and regular supervision, including reflective supervision, are provided to all clinical staff. This position will initially train in West Valley City but will relocate to the Lehi office when the new facility opens in July.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for young children and their families.
• Deliver Family and Dyadic Therapy.
• Serve as an active member of the Psychology Training Committee for the APA-accredited doctoral intern program.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team collaborations.
• Attain certification in evidence-based treatments (e.g., ARC, CPP).
• Engage in ongoing professional training and reflective supervision.

Requirements

• Utah licensure (or license-eligible) as a Psychologist.
• Ability to provide clinical supervision to doctoral interns by July 2027 (2 years post-licensure).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred (pay premium for bilingual skills).
• Clinical experience with children from birth to age six and their families preferred.
• Experience using evidence-based interventions for childhood trauma preferred.
• Experience conducting psychological assessments with children; experience with differential diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
• Highly motivated to learn new skills and thrive in a stimulating, busy clinical environment.

Pay

$110,000–$120,000, dependent on experience.
