Staff Psychiatrist - Child Outpatient

About the role

Provides outpatient mental health services for Humboldt County residents, including eligible Medi-Cal patients. Responsible for addressing patients' mental health needs through treatment, follow-up care coordination, and resource referrals.

Responsibilities

• Flexible 8 or 10 hours of coverage Monday – Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Can be Hybrid schedule (3 weeks tele/1 week in person)
• No call, nights, or weekends
• Case load of 250
• Average of 1-5 intakes per week
• 90 minutes for an initial evaluation and 45 minutes for a follow-up visit
• EMR - Streamline
• Clinic hosts NP trainees, requires comfort as a preceptor
