About the Role

Legion Health is a technology-enabled psychiatry network that prioritizes clinician well-being, professional growth, and collaborative clinical excellence. We are seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide evidence-based psychiatric care through telehealth in a fully remote position available as full-time or part-time contract work across the United States. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical autonomy and benefiting from significant organizational support.

You will provide outpatient psychiatric care remotely via telehealth to patients across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental-health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk analysis
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans that may combine medication management and brief psychotherapy
  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care
  • Use evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical peers through consultations and case reviews
  • Use technology and operational systems effectively to deliver reliable telehealth care

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction
  • Board certification as a PMHNP through the ANCC
  • Active individual DEA practitioner registration
  • At least one year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems
  • Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care

Schedule

  • Fully remote within the United States
  • Full-time or part-time contract schedules available
  • Psychiatric intakes are 60 minutes; follow-up appointments are 30 minutes
