Staff Product Manager, Rubrik Security Cloud AI Platform

About the role

The Staff Product Manager will own the AI Platform that powers the Rubrik Security Cloud control plane. Key responsibilities include defining and owning the AI platform architecture, designing and enforcing the governance framework for agent actions, defining guardrails, orchestrating multi-tools, tracking platform metrics, and partnering with security and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the AI platform architecture that enables agents to discover, select, and execute tools reliably
• Design and enforce the governance framework for agent actions
• Define guardrails that prevent unsafe, unauthorized, or out-of-scope agent behavior without over-restricting capability
• Own multi-tool orchestration to handle dependencies and gracefully recover from failures
• Define and track platform metrics to ensure success while considering costs
• Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure the platform meets enterprise trust requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in product management, with significant experience in platform or infrastructure product roles
• 5+ years experience in the enterprise IT infrastructure market (cloud and on-prem)
• Deep technical fluency in AI/ML systems, LLMs, agentic architectures, or developer platforms
• Experience building governance, trust, or safety frameworks for AI or automated systems
• Demonstrated experience creating strategic plans and executing against them
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead without authority
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals
