About the role

Crusoe is building the infrastructure layer that powers the most demanding AI workloads on the planet. Our networking stack is what connects thousands of GPUs into the high-performance clusters that some of the biggest names in AI rely on to train and run their models. As a Staff Product Manager on our Cloud Infrastructure team, you will own the networking product roadmap and shape how customers experience performance, reliability, and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep relationships with customers to understand their networking needs, pain points, and growth plans, and act as their voice inside Crusoe.
  • Own and prioritize the networking product roadmap, balancing customer requests, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Define the long-term vision for Crusoe's networking offerings, including cluster networking, SDN, and RDMA fabrics, to keep pace with the needs of AI training and inference at scale.
  • Partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, and SRE to define technical specifications, execution timelines, and economics.
  • Communicate with executive leadership to distill complex technical tradeoffs into clear, compelling narratives and decision documents.
  • Track industry trends in cloud networking and translate them into concrete opportunities for Crusoe to differentiate.
  • Work with sales and marketing to position networking capabilities in a way that resonates with customers and drives new business.
  • Create and maintain documentation that helps customers understand and get the most out of Crusoe's networking capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of technical product management experience, or product-minded engineering experience, with a track record of owning outcomes at Staff or Group PM scope.
  • Strong customer orientation, with experience gathering and synthesizing customer feedback into product decisions that grow revenue and retention.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, platforms, and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience building and launching networking products.
  • Proven ability to define and scope ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, finance, and executive teams.

Qualifications

  • Direct technical experience working with networking hardware and protocols.
  • Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and VPC networks.
  • Familiarity with RDMA network fabrics, such as InfiniBand or RoCE.
  • Familiarity with cloud or enterprise Wide Area Networks (WAN).
  • Experience managing or mentoring other product managers.
