About the role

The Data Services Team builds and operates the data platform that powers CoreWeave's AI cloud. They provide the necessary data storage, processing, and sharing capabilities for customers and CoreWeave engineers to handle the demands of AI and GPU workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for CoreWeave's data services portfolio, including databases, data lakes, streaming, metadata and catalog, and data sharing and integration.
  • Shape a multi-year vision for how our data services underpin AI and GPU workloads, and lead delivery from 0 to 1 and 1 to N.
  • Work directly with strategic customers and partners, collaborating closely with engineering and GTM to evaluate emerging data technologies and ensure services are secure, reliable, and easy to adopt.
  • Define and drive the strategy for GPU-intensive applications, influencing the architecture to meet performance requirements.
  • Engage with customers to understand their data architectures, co-design solutions, and support large-scale deployments.
  • Collaborate with engineering, GTM, and leadership to align on clear goals and execution plans in a fast-moving environment.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, validate priorities, and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Think API-first to design and operate services that are scalable, performant, and user-friendly.

Requirements

8+ years of product management experience in data platforms, databases, analytics, or cloud infrastructure, with at least 3-4 years focused on data services (managed databases, streaming, data warehouses, data lakes, or governance platforms).

  • Technical fluency in relational and/or distributed databases, streaming and pipelines, data security and governance.
  • Strong communication skills to create clarity from ambiguity, influence without authority, and translate technical depth for any audience.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where the answer isn't always obvious.

Qualifications

  • Staff or Director-level PM experience at a database vendor, cloud provider, or high-growth infrastructure company.
  • Hands-on experience with managed data services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with AI/ML data products like feature stores, vector search, real-time analytics, or serving pipelines for LLM workloads.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS packaging and usage-based or tiered pricing models.

Skills

  • Love building platforms that other teams and customers treat as critical infrastructure.
  • Curious about new databases, analytics, and AI data patterns, and good at separating real value from hype.
  • Capable of driving clarity in highly technical, ambiguous problem spaces and rallying cross-functional teams around a plan.
  • Balance long-term vision with fast iteration, and comfortable moving forward with imperfect information.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $188,000 to $275,000.
  • Total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending account, health savings account, tuition reimbursement, ability to participate in employee stock purchase program (ESPP), mental wellness benefits, paid parental leave, and more.
