Staff Platform Engineer, Cloud Developer Experience

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the CI/CD architecture and developer experience
• Drive ongoing improvements in pipeline reliability and speed
• Define processes that empower product teams to ship safely
• Manage the delivery process from code merge to production
• Champion advanced deployment practices such as canary deployments
• Develop tooling for observable and self-service deployments
• Enhance the Internal Developer Portal to improve self-service capabilities
• Partner with Cloud Platform teams to align on infrastructure needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience roles focused on CI/CD
• Experience managing a CI/CD platform with a focus on security and configuration
• Proven capability in designing and operating large-scale delivery systems
• Hands-on development experience with production-quality Go
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and Kubernetes
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills across teams
• Interest in AI tools for enhancing engineering practices

Pay

$223,100 – $305,000 annually
