Staff Physician - Hospitalist - Full Time

About the role

The selected candidates will join more than 75 physicians and 35 advanced practice providers in five adult-service facilities. Norton Hospitalists offers quality, comprehensive care to more than 190,000 patients annually from across Greater Louisville and the region beyond. In 2025, our adult-service facilities saw an average of 27,000 patient visits a month. Responsibilities

• Recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history.
• Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient.
• Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
