About the role

The Staff Physician- Family Medicine is a key member of the collaborative care team at the Washington Heights Health Center, serving the underserved communities of Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens. This individual provides evidence-based primary care to approximately 85,000 people annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Offer prenatal care and have strong interest in women’s health procedures

Requirements

• Valid N.Y.S. License to deliver medical care
• At least one (1) year of post-graduate/residency experience in a Primary Care setting

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Commitment to providing culturally sensitive and equitable healthcare
