Staff Physician - Benign Hematology

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Penn State Health Cancer Institute and Penn State College of Medicine is seeking an individual to build an academic career in classical hematology. This position involves outpatient management and inpatient consultations on persons with Benign Hematologic disorders, primarily sickle cell disease and other red blood cell disorders, bleeding disorders, and clotting disorders. The role includes working in clinical teams with advanced practice providers and other staff, engaging in hematology research, and educating learners in fellowship, residency, and medical school programs.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING

  • Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of accredited residency program
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board certified or eligible in Hematology
  • Eligible or currently licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
